For a group project two group members and I created a urinary catheter device that can simplify and speed up the process saving time for nurses and easing the patient experience. The model was 3D printed with DLP technology (Digital Light Processing) and printed at Stratasys on the Origin One. The material used with MED413 by Henkel which is a medical grade certified resin. This device would save RN’s in the United State 490,667 hours and allows for 2.208 million more patients a year.
